WrapCap was a five-year initiative led by the Centre for Newcomers focused on strengthening sector capacity and improving coordinated support systems for newcomer youth and their families across Western and Northern Canada. The project supported settlement and non-settlement agencies throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Northwest Territories through the implementation of a wraparound service delivery model.

MISSION / OBJECTIF

WrapCap’s mission was to create a coordinated and timely professional development system for frontline human service personnel supporting newcomer youth and families. The initiative focused on providing coaching, connections, advocacy, and wraparound support to service providers while promoting standardized and collaborative approaches to newcomer settlement services.
