What is the Play Fair: Anti-Racism in Sports Toolkit?
The Play Fair: Anti-Racism in Sport Toolkit is a free online resource created by diverse individuals working at all levels of sport across Canada. The toolkit provides education, resources and guidance about fostering diversity and inclusion in Canadian amateur sports. The goal is to empower the sports community to take action to combat racism and discrimination and create safe, fun, inclusive spaces for sport and play. The toolkit covers a range of topics including racism, Indigenous inclusion and reconciliation, and 2SLGBTQIA+ and Trans inclusion.
What is Included in the Toolkit?
Free downloadable resources to support organizations, including policy templates, a glossary of key terminology and a multicultural calendar.
What is the Lunch & Learn Webinar Series?
The Lunch and Learn Webinars are online webinar sessions led by program partners and guest speakers for NSO’s PTSO’s and MSO’s. The webinars focus on deepening organizations’ understanding of the toolkit content and helping them plan to action the advice provided. The webinars include best practice examples and opportunities for Q and A with subject experts in anti-racism and inclusion in sport. The cost of the webinar sessions is $500 + taxes/fees.
